Based on our success guiding elite athletes like Cameron Dye from developmental focus to elite professional performance, Grant and Neal will be helping up to 4 developmental (under 25 yrs) athletes improve their fitness and triathlon racing performance through hands on coaching in Boulder, CO.  The team will be know as the Breeze Bars U25 Professional Triathlon Team.

The team will be anchored by veteran APEX Coaching athlete, Flora Duffy, who recently finished 4th at the 2010 Pan American Championships in Puerto Vallarta Mexico in October, 8th in the U23 ITU World Championships in Budapest, Hugary in September, and 20th at the Hy Vee Triathlon ITU Premium World Cup in June 2010.  She was a world championships silver medalist as a junior and also competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics in triathlon for Bermuda.  She is also the reigning Time Trial and Road Race champion of the 2010 Carribean Cycling Championships.

The other confirmed member of the 2011 squad is Allen Gardner.  Allen is a former collegiate swimmer and has only been competing in triathlon for 2 years.  He won the 2010 Loveland Lake to Lake Triathlon and was the amateur champion at the Pacific Grove Triathlon and the 2010 Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon as well.

The squad members will training together several days per week and will also be elligible for support from several sponsors including Breeze Bars, Boulder Center for Sports Medicine, Carroll Composites, Freewheel Coffee, Mix 1, First Endurance, Oakley and several other equipment and apparel suppliers.  Interested sponsors or athletes should contact Neal at apexcoach@gmail.com for more information.
